Overview
As in most fantasy MMORPGs, the game's different classes, called factions, follow some common archetypes. Their names are, however, very original as they are based on the Chinese novel Zhu Xian's story. There are four races in Jade Dynasty: Human, Athan, Etherkin, and Deikin. The Human, Athan and Etherkin races each have six classes while the Deikin race is currently comprised of only one class. Upon ascension, players have the option to change their class; however, the class must be of the same race as the starting class.
