A badge is a piece of equipment that lets you obtain the benefit of several charms at the same time. Can be refined

Types

There are 4 types of badge and these define the bases stats you will obtain. The following are stats exclusive to each badge.

Badges have 3 qualities: Regular, Essence and Perfect. The differences depend on the stats and chances of these. Essence Badges cannot have Defense stats.

Refining

You can refine your badge with Jadefall Crystal at the Badge Master NPC to improve their basic stats, as well as obtain extra attributes and the charm sockets.

• Charm Sockets are unlocked at: +8, +9, +10, +11, *12, +13, +14 and +15

Much like Esper Tome and Accesory, the stats at each refinery mark is random.

Sockets

In order to embed faction charm effects into your badge, you must first "Extract Additional Attributes" at the Badge Master NPC with a Spirit Square Jade.

• This process will consume your factional charm while it randomly extracts one of the Charm's attributes.

Note: This process randomly extracts a single attribute from your charm, either hp, sp or the Tome effect.

Once you have a Spirit Square Jade which attribute is your Faction Tome Rank +1, you can Embed Badge Sockets into your Badge.

Once a charm has been embedded into a Badge, it cannot be removed. The only way to empty the socket is to reduce the refinery level on your Badge.
